Effective factors in the treatment of posttraumatic stress reactions in WTC first responders. This study examines potential mediators and moderators of outcome in the outpatient psychosocial treatment of PTSD in first responders utilizing data collected as part of program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives within the NYU School of Medicine WTC Health Program Clinical Center of Excellence.

NYU School of Medicine WTC Health Program Clinical Center of Excellence. Funded by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and administered by the National Institutes for Occupational Safety and Health, this grant represents a multicenter program to perform longitudinal health evaluations in a population of WTC responders to screen for medical complications associated with the WTC disaster.
